Community Oasis: A space for Knowledge-Sharing, Creative Expression, Connection and Empowerment

We warmly invite you to our Community Oasis at RosaLinde!

This time, Dasha, Community Coach at @damost_ev , will join us for a workshop around the question: How can we navigate the “German” work environment with more confidence and agency? Whether you are currently looking for a job, have recently arrived in Germany, are navigating the German work environment, or simply want to exchange experiences and perspectives on work culture - you are very welcome to join. Together, we will look at supposedly “cultural” differences and at the expectations and unwritten rules we may encounter in everyday working life:

💬 How is communication at work often handled?
💬 What is considered important or taken for granted?
💬 What role do different cultural backgrounds and experiences play?
💬 What specific experiences do queer*, BiPoC, (post-)migrant and multiply marginalized people have in the workplace?

✨ And most importantly: How do I want to deal with these expectations and feel more confident and secure?

The aim is not to teach one single “german work culture”. Instead, the workshop offers practical knowledge while creating space for your own experiences, questions and perspectives and for developing strategies and possibilities for action together.

🍲 Afterwards, there will be a small potluck and space to connect, exchange and network with queers & allies at RosaLinde.

🗣️ The workshop will be held in English. Childcare and language support can be arranged if needed. Please let us know when registering.
